Terms of Engagement

Draft for review — summary terms. The signed proposal and rules of engagement for each engagement take precedence.

1. Who provides the service

Services are provided by T.S Squire Assurance Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus (Company No. [HE______]), which operates the NetDefenders brand. All engagements are contracted with T.S Squire Assurance Ltd.

2. Authorisation

We test only systems that the client owns or is authorised to have tested. Before any testing begins, the client signs rules of engagement that list the targets, testing windows, permitted techniques and emergency contacts. For systems hosted by third parties (cloud, hosting or SaaS providers), the client is responsible for any notice or permission the provider requires.

3. Quotes and pricing

Prices on this website and in the price calculator are indicative, in euro and exclusive of VAT. The price in the written proposal is fixed for the agreed scope. Any change of scope is agreed in writing before additional work is carried out.

4. Payment

[Payment terms, e.g. 50% on booking and 50% on delivery of the report, payable within 14 days of invoice.]

5. Rescheduling and cancellation

[Rescheduling and cancellation terms.]

6. Conduct of testing

We use a professional methodology designed to minimise disruption. Potentially disruptive techniques are used only with prior written approval. We report critical findings promptly to the nominated contact.

7. Confidentiality

Findings, reports and client information are confidential and are handled as described in our privacy policy. Reports are delivered only to the nominated client contacts.

8. Limitations

Penetration testing is a point-in-time assessment of the agreed scope. It cannot guarantee that every vulnerability has been found. [Liability cap — e.g. limited to the fees paid for the engagement.]

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction.
